Competition Results · Big UK Series Round 2 · Worthing Watersports
First — a quick apology. We've been sitting on these results for a few days because we wanted to make sure we had the full picture on personal record breakers before announcing the prize draw. We're working with WOO to improve how we capture PRs for future rounds. If you broke a personal record during the event and your name isn't on the list below, please message us — we don't want anyone to miss out.
Now, the important bit. Round 2 of the WOO Big UK Series by Worthing Watersports delivered. Aaron Hadlow — one of the most decorated names in the history of kitesurfing — topped the Men's leaderboard with a 30.6m jump from Lancing Beach. Our own Jake Scrace took 2nd with 24.8m. Jessie Tucker won the Women's for the second time. And Hugo Wigglesworth covered a remarkable 103km to take the Distance title.

Overall Series Standings
This is a year-long competition — Round 2 of many. Points are accumulating across every event and the prizes at the end of the year will be the biggest yet. There's also a 1 discard round — so if you miss an event due to holidays or life getting in the way, you won't be knocked out of contention. Every storm is a chance to move up.
The live running standings across both events so far are on the WOO leaderboard now:
How to Take Part in Round 3
The next event will be announced as soon as a good storm window opens up — follow us on Instagram @worthingwatersports so you don't miss it. Here's all you need to know:
1. Get a WOO 4.0. You need a WOO sensor or the WOO smartwatch app to record jumps. GPS distance can be recorded via phone or smartwatch. No WOO, no entry.
2. Watch for the announcement. We call events when the forecast looks good — usually a few days ahead. Follow us on Instagram and keep an eye on this blog.
3. Kite anywhere in the UK or Ireland on the event days, record your session, and post it before the deadline.
4. Ride safe. WOO now has a live location tracker built into the app — it broadcasts your position to other riders nearby. You'll need a phone or watch with a SIM to use it. Please use it. These events are all about getting people on the water and having fun — look out for each other out there.
This is meant to be fun. The goal is simple — motivate you to get out on the water when the wind blows, push yourself a little, and be part of a great community. Whether you're chasing 30m or just hitting your first 5m — every jump counts.
