The Neo has been at the forefront of wave riding since the very beginning; new for 2024, the Neo epitomises our versatile, solid, performance philosophy. The new kite features an improved wingtip shape and construction. This further enhances the turning characteristics of the kite and improves its handling, making it even more dynamic. The new construction uses more Trinity TX in the wingtip area of the kite, reducing the weight and helping it to drift down the line without sacrificing durability. The overall profile of the kite has been updated, too; it now features a slightly deeper centre profile with a moderately deeper profile towards the tips. These changes help to increase the kite's low-end power and load the wingtips for more precise handling, making the steering incredibly responsive. These improvements make the Neo fantastic for riding waves; with lightning speed in the turn and incredible drift, it is easy to see why it has become one of the most popular wave kites on the market.
Versatility is key here, equipped with multiple settings on the tips that allow you to fine-tune the kite's performance according to the day's conditions. So, whether you're enjoying a flatwater strapless freestyle session or riding the waves, the Neo can be adjusted for maximum pop and powerful loops or optimised for exceptional drift and rapid turning speed.
Another excellent feature of the Neo lies in its remarkable power delivery across the entire wind range. With abundant low-end power, this kite enables you to ride with a smaller, more dynamic size, enhancing your overall performance. At the same time, the Neo offers an extensive upper range with generous depower, allowing you to stay on the water for longer when the conditions change.
With plenty of updates and upgrades for 2024, the new Neo will be hard to beat, this class-leading wave kite pushes the boundaries once more, and all you have to do is be along for the ride.
Key Features
Excellent Drift: The Neo Concept Blue is famous for its incredible drifting abilities, allowing the kite to float down the line while you worry about riding the wave.
Improved Turning Initiation and Turning Speed: The new wing tip shape and construction have improved the turning speed and responsiveness of the kite, making it even more dynamic.
Incredibly Powerful with Massive Depower: The range of the Neo Concept Blue is legendary! It has a huge bottom end, meaning you can get going on a smaller kite before other riders
this, coupled with impressive depower, has you out riding for longer when the wind picks up, and you can get away with a smaller quiver.
Dynamic Handling: The turning speed of the Neo Concept Blue is exceedingly quick
not only that, the kite has been designed to react to bar inputs incredibly quickly, but this also makes it one of the most responsive kites on the market.
Geometry Tuned to Size: The larger kites have been designed to use a wider arc and have less sweep in the tips, maximising power, while the smaller sizes have more sweep and a narrower arc with a focus on manoeuvrability.
Tech Features
Double-V Pigtails: These pigtails distribute the load of the line connections to the kite, minimizing the risk of fatigue, making the kite less prone to distortion and helps it to steer more smoothly.
Kook Proof Connectors: The kook proof line connection points prevent accidents by guaranteeing that you cannot accidentally connect your lines incorrectly when rigging your kite.
Load Distribution Panels: As kite geometry improves, the canopy must continue to resist increasing forces. To spread these forces, Load-Distribution-Panels are used, holding the kite’s shape even under the most extreme loads. In practice this gives a smoother and more consistent performance from the kite in any riding situation.
Modern Trailing Edge Design: A narrower trailing edge and a lighter combination of materials to reduce wear and to create a slicker kite profile.
Fusion Strut: This construction allows for a controlled distribution of forces between strut and leading edge. Struts are 100% connected to the leading edge with a flexible Dyneema line, which promotes higher canopy tension and a clean profile.
Anti Snag: The Anti Snag webbing is preventing the lines from tangling around the tip of the kite. Waterstarts are made easier and safety is increased.
Trinity TX: Teijin is the world’s leading supplier of polyester fabrics and sail materials to marine sports. The combined creative power of Duotone Kiteboarding saw the formulation of TRINITY TX. Exclusive to Duotone Kiteboarding, TRINITY TX is a 3x2 canopy material, which has proven to be far superior to other canopy materials in terms of durability and dynamic performance. The 3x2 yarn combination has proven to be the best solution in performance as well as durability, overall superior to any 2x2 or 4x4 yarn solutions. TRINITY TX. Made to stand the test of time.
Heavy Duty Leading Edge Closing Seam: The leading edges of all kites are extremely durable due to a special heavy duty closing seam. The Dacron material at the leading edge is reinforced with a self sticky Insignia Tape and double stitched additionally. The Heavy Duty Leading Edge Closing Seam is resistant to very high tensions and diagonal forces.
