Which Duotone kitesurf package is right for you?

• Duotone Evo & Gonzales. This is the entry point. The Evo is Duotone's best-selling freeride kite: stable, easy to relaunch and forgiving. The Gonzales is a durable twintip that's easy to learn on. It's the package for new riders and for anyone coming back to the sport.
• Duotone Evo & Select Concept Blue. This pairs the Evo with the Select, Duotone's freeride all-rounder twintip, and adds the Trust Bar. The Select planes early, lands smoothly and is comfortable for long sessions. It's the safe choice if you cruise, carve and want to start jumping.
• Duotone Evo & Select SLS. This package uses the lighter, stiffer carbon-reinforced SLS version of the Select, with Entity Ergo bindings. It suits progressing freeriders who want more pop and response, and it's priced well because it uses a previous-season Evo.
• Duotone Evo SLS & Jaime SLS. This is the premium freeride and Big Air setup. The Evo SLS is lighter and more direct than the standard Evo. The Jaime SLS is Duotone's best-known twintip, and the package comes with Entity 360 bindings. Pick this one if you're an experienced rider who wants to go higher and land softer.
• Duotone Neo & Whip SLS. This is the wave package. The Neo is Duotone's wave kite: it drifts well, turns quickly and gives smooth power. The Whip SLS is a forgiving directional kite surfboard. Use it to move into strapless wave riding, or ride it in onshore South Coast conditions.

What comes in a Duotone kitesurfing package?

Every package comes complete and ready to ride:

• Kite. You choose the size. Most riders on the South Coast use a 9m or 10m as their main kite, with a smaller kite for strong winds.
• Board. Twintips come with fins and bindings: Vario Combo, Entity Ergo or Entity 360, depending on the package. The Whip surfboard comes with its fins and a front traction pad.
• Control bar. The Duotone Click Bar or Trust Bar, with lines.
• Freeride Quick Release kit. The bar doesn't come with a quick release, so we include one in every package.
• Kite pump. Included in every package.

Choosing your kite and board size

Kite size depends on your weight, your skill level and your local wind. Lighter riders and stronger winds need a smaller kite. Heavier riders and lighter winds need a bigger one. A bigger twintip gives more lift and planes earlier, which helps newer and heavier riders. A smaller board is easier to control when you're overpowered. If you're not sure, call us with your weight and where you ride, and we'll recommend the right sizes.
