Every Duotone foil stabiliser in one place: D/LAB monobloc tails, screw-on stabilisers (stabilizers) and the Frontpiece AL 3BS adapter. As the UK’s Duotone specialist we stock the full range and can help you match the right tail to your front wing.

Duotone Monobloc Tails (D/LAB)

A monobloc is the tail and stabiliser in one carbon piece, which gives the lowest drag in the Duotone range. Each size is written as tail length / stabiliser area: 37cm / PX160 means a 37cm tail with a 160cm² stab.

• Duotone Monobloc Tail PX D/LAB (37cm / PX160, 40cm / PX145, 43cm / PX160). Built for wing and foil-assist riding at higher speeds. Recommended with the Carve 3.0 D/LAB, Crest D/LAB and Glide D/LAB. You can size down: the Monobloc PX160 lifts roughly like a PX175 screw-on stab.
• Duotone Monobloc Tail S D/LAB (40cm / S160). Made for swell-powered riding, so prone and downwind foilers. Recommended with the Crest D/LAB and Glide D/LAB.
• Duotone Monobloc Tail H D/LAB (43cm / H130, 40cm / H150). A high-aspect stab for pump and glide, ideal for downwind, parawing and freefly wing foiling. It pairs with the Glide 3.0, Hyperglide and Amp 2.0. Use the 130 with smaller, faster front wings and the 150 with larger foils.
• Duotone Monobloc Tail F D/LAB (37cm / F165). The freestyle and kite foil stab, tuned to match the Pop D/LAB for pop and control.

All monobloc tails use the 3BS+ system, with a 4th screw for extra pitch stability.

Which tail length? Fuselage lengths explained

Tail length sets your total fuselage length:

• 37cm tail ≈ 60cm fuselage: the most agile option, for medium to larger front wings.
• 40cm tail ≈ 63cm fuselage: a good mix of agility and control, for smaller front wings.
• 43cm tail ≈ 66cm fuselage: more pitch stability and a locked-in feel.

Frontpiece AL 3BS: run a monobloc on SLS and Original foils

The Duotone Frontpiece AL 3BS (23cm) lets you fit a monobloc tail to SLS and Original front wings. That means setups like the Amp 2.0 SLS and the larger Glide 3.0 SLS can run a Monobloc H.

Screw-on stabilisers

Classic bolt-on Duotone stabilisers for 3BS fuselages:

• PX (160–260cm²): built for wing and foil-assist riding at higher speeds.
• S (145–210cm²): for swell-powered riding, prone and downwind.
• H (125–235cm²): high aspect, for pump and glide.
• R (190cm²): the race stabiliser. Duotone team rider Rob Claise runs the R on his Carve for kite foiling.
• C (300cm²): control and comfort, a forgiving choice for beginner and intermediate riders on larger front wings.
