How long does the Gen 2 Foil Drive run for?

Run time is so variable depending on many factors - the weight and skill level of the rider, equipment used, conditions, type of foiling being done, how much you rely on the motor vs how much you pump, how many times you fall... the best thing to say is that the Slim is 30 minutes to an hour, and the Max would be in the region of 1 - 2 hours, but it could be completely different, especially at the beginning stages while you are learning the technique.

Run time mainly depends on how you use them. You could get 3 hours from the Max if you use it like people use the Slim, but we tend to rely on the motor much more when I'm using the Max, so we usually get 1 - 1.5 hours with each power battery, but definitely under an hour if I'm using a tiny foil such as a 780.

We use the Slim completely differently than we use the Max - We focus on pumping much more than using the motor, so usually get 45mins, possibly up to an hour if I'm being careful to use the motor as little as possible, pumping more, especially if using a slightly bigger foil.

What is the weight of each Foil Drive unit?

Assist Slim & Performance battery: 2.3kg
Assist Slim & Endurance battery: 2.8kg
Assist Max & Sport battery: 3.5kg
Assist Max & Power battery: 4.5kg
