Foil Drive FM+ 650 Battery — the new 'go-to' battery for Fusion and MAX+.

Part of Foil Drive's new Gen2.5 43V battery range, the FM+ 650 sits at the intersection of runtime, weight and cost — Foil Drive's recommended default for most riders on either the Fusion or the MAX+.

On the MAX+: 540mm install length, 6.71kg total install weight, 35.5kg max thrust, up to 1750W sustained power, 45–65 minutes runtime.
On the Fusion: 658mm install length, 7.13kg total install weight, 37.5kg max thrust, up to 1850W sustained power, 45–65 minutes runtime.

Compatibility: fits the MAX+ directly. Fitting an existing Fusion requires the FM+ Battery Adaptor (sold separately) — Fusion systems bought before 23 September 2026 will need to add the adaptor. Not compatible with the Gen2 MAX.

Runtime figures are Foil Drive's own indicative averages for an 85kg intermediate rider on an 800–1000cm² wing and 5'0 40L board, under 5kts wind.
