The Duotone iTendon for iBase (incl. Duotone Pin Short) is an innovative heavy-duty tendon that sets the bar high for reliability, performance and safety. Instead of the usual PU material, a BASF high-tech material is used for the first time, which is about 50% tougher and more durable.
The new Dyneema Safety System integrates a high-quality Dyneema kite line into the BASF tendon for maximum safety – extremely light, extremely tear-resistant and, if the worst comes to the worst, completely non-stretch.
Please note: when you need to exchange the tendon, put the iTendon into boiling water for a couple of minutes so that the screw glue becomes a little more fluid and the screws can be undone. Important: after swapping the tendon, make sure to add a little screw glue (Loctite 248).
