There's a reason the Malibu longboard shape has never gone out of fashion in surfing, and the same logic applies the moment you put it under a stand up paddleboard. The new Duotone Flow takes that classic outline — wide, rounded nose, generous mid-section, refined tail — and rebuilds it in lightweight CNC-precision composite construction for paddlers who want a board that's genuinely easy to ride and genuinely satisfying to ride well.
Whether you're paddling flat water at dawn, touring along the coast, or dropping into small-to-head-high waves, the Flow is built to grow with you. It's stable enough for newcomers to find their feet quickly, yet responsive enough to reward more experienced riders pushing for cleaner lines and more critical turns.

A Classic Shape, Engineered Properly
The Flow's Malibu-longboard inspired outline isn't a styling exercise — it's a precision tool. The wider, rounded nose generates effortless early entry into waves and superior glide on flat water, while the generous mid-section volume keeps the platform stable and predictable underfoot. The refined tail outline then allows smooth, drawn-out carves and pivot turns that don't demand expert-level technique to pull off.
It's built using Duotone's CUSTOM CNC composite construction — a composite-wood sandwich layup over a lightweight, CNC-precision-shaped EPS core, finished with an unfinished, exclusive aesthetic. The result is a board that balances low weight, efficient glide and genuine on-water comfort, drawing on Duotone's heritage in premium windsurfing and foil board manufacturing.
Built for UK and European Conditions
From dawn-patrol flatwater sessions to small-wave surf breaks and coastline explorations, the Flow performs across the full spectrum of all-round SUP use. Its longboard-style shape handles chop and open water with composure, while the 2+1 Tri fin setup delivers precise tracking and manoeuvrability whether you're paddling straight or carving deep into a turn.
Lake paddles, river touring, Atlantic beach breaks, Mediterranean point breaks — the Flow is genuinely at home everywhere, which makes it an easy board to recommend whether you're based on the South Coast or planning a paddleboarding trip further afield.
The Details That Make It Work
The deck features a flat spot deck shape — the centre, exactly where you stand, is completely flat rather than rounded, giving you a stable, jetty-like base for balance and control. Underfoot, 4mm Duo Structure EVA pads combine a signature diamond grip pattern in the centre with a longitudinal cord-groove pattern at the rear for maximum lateral grip on your back foot during turns, plus an EVA kick-pad to keep your foot locked in during pivot turns.
The squash tail — the most common shape on modern surfboards for good reason — gives more drive and grip through turns, with rounded corners that add lift for easier manoeuvrability at lower speeds and in smaller waves. The bottom shape runs flat single-concave at the front (for acceleration and take-off), into a V double-concave under the front foot (for a stable riding position), opening into a V towards the tail for improved water release and turnability. A classic longboard rocker line ties it together, encouraging flowing carves rather than forced, old-school nose-lifting turns.
Surfing-style rails finish the shape: harder, pulled-down rails towards the tail for grip on top turns, softening towards the nose for smoother bottom turns and more forgiveness when nose-riding. A double-sided grab handle and a dual leash plug round out the practical details.
