Features

Tatex_Grip: Renowned for its abrasion resistant performance, we found that Tatex, especially when wet, provides incredible grip! ION have set new standards with outstanding non-slip performance of our gloves, especially when holding a bar, boom or paddle.
Cuff_Tongue: Extendes neoprenflap at the cuff with rubber print holds the gloves under your wetsuit in place.
Tatex_Glue: An additional layer of Tatex_Glue on the GBS_Seams for even more water-resistance. Due to the complex process, only the premium products are equipped with this feature.
Plasma_Plush 2.0: Our premium lining provides both heat retention and optimal stretch. The high-pile fabric effectively traps air, ensuring cozy warmth and insulation, while the vertically aligned channel structure swiftly transports moisture away, leaving your suit dry after your break between sessions.
Glued Blind Stitch: Glued and Blind Stitched wetsuits are first glued and then with a curved needle halfway stitched thru the neoprene to prevent water entering the wetsuit.

Well made, great fit, warm

These Ion Neo 2/1 gloves were bought mainly for winter sea swimming. They're tight on the wrist and hand as it's important they don't fill with water and go sloshy. They keep their shape very well when wet and keep hands and fingers warm, even though they're the thinnest Ion gloves. The long wrists fit snugly, which seems to help keep Reynaud's fingers at bay. The lining helps when putting the gloves on, feels warm, is very comfortable and hardwearing. The palms are grippy for paddles and oars, but also help keep the gloves in shape when swimming. Being tight to get on and off means they have to be well-made and the strong seams are still completely intact in the first pair bought two years ago, despite frequent use and being machine washed after every swim. Looking for a second "dry" pair needed no thought at all: the same again.
