Duotone Foil Assist eMast AL Cruise Set

The Duotone Foil Assist Cruise Mast is specifically designed for beginners and intermediate foilers, making it an excellent choice for those looking to enter the sport of foiling or advance their skills.

The Cruise Mast AL, made from aluminum, is 80 cm long and therefore slightly shorter than the eMast AL. It is particularly well-suited for beginners and intermediate foilers who want to improve their foiling skills or experience their first glides on rolling swell. The eMast AL Cruise is extremely stiff and provides a direct, responsive feel.

The powerful motor is mounted low on the mast, 15 cm above the fuselage, and equipped with a two-blade folding propeller. Due to the exposed propeller, we recommend that especially beginners install the optional propeller guard. Its hydrodynamic design helps keep drag—and therefore increased energy consumption—as low as possible. However, even with the guard, caution around the propeller is still necessary.

All components of the Foil Assist system are compatible with the other mast options, allowing you to easily expand your setup. With a wide selection of fuselage adapters — including, in addition to Duotone, ten other options such as F-One, Armstrong, Gong, Axis, Lift, North, Code, Sab, AFS, and KT — the Foil Assist can be seamlessly combined with most foil systems. It mounts to the board just like a traditional mast.

Tech Features

Highly modular: Every component of the Foil Assist system is cross-compatible with the other eMast options, making it easy to expand your setup. The Foil Assist Cruise Mast AL can be mounted to any brand’s foilboard with standard US foil tracks. A fuselage adapter is required to attach the fuselage to the eMast. In addition to the Duotone adapter, we offer ten more options to help you combine the eMast with your existing foils.
Propeller guard: The optional propeller guard attaches to the motor with three screws and provides protection from the rotating propeller. Caution is still advised! We especially recommend that beginners use the propeller guard, even though it may slightly reduce battery runtime due to increased drag.
Stiff mast for a direct response: The eMast AL Cruise is incredibly stiff and provides a direct, responsive feel.
Low drag through integrated motor pod: The fully integrated motor pod, positioned 15 cm above the fuselage, and internally routed cables optimize glide and maneuverability while allowing for easy assembly.
Different boost options: Customize your ride with different propellers — plastic or aluminum — to dial in your perfect setup. Choose between powerful assistance that enables you to ride smaller foils and perform sharper turns, or go for a smoother boost for easy takeoffs and foiling.
Reliable signal transmission: The Bluetooth connection between the remote and the Foil Assist system is very stable, as the receiver is integrated into the lid of the battery box. This design prevents the connection from being interrupted by water.
