The Duotone Uni.XT SLS is the most technically advanced and the most lightweight standard extension Duotone has ever built, now made with SLS carbon technology to create the lightest extension in the world.

Standard extensions often disappoint: they rarely fit the rope alignment on the sail, most need high downhaul forces, and the mechanism for adjusting the height is usually fiddly. Duotone analysed all of these issues before designing the Uni.XT and came up with workable solutions.

The latest version has a completely new adjustment ring. Based on the tried-and-tested SDM adjustment ring, the RDM version now ensures for the first time that the aluminium tube does not come into contact with the mast, which avoids contact corrosion – something no other RDM extension can offer. To keep the same durability despite the reduced diameter, a double-walled sandwich construction of 7075 aluminium outer tube and ovalised T8 inner tube is used (patent pending).
