New Duotone kite construction for 2027

The 2027 kites are lighter, stiffer and more direct than any Duotone kite before them:

• New overlap seam construction – up to 50% stronger than a standard seam, lighter, and a more direct steering impulse thanks to a closer connection between panels.
• Micro Loop Connections – smaller, slicker and up to 50% lighter per kite at the same durability.
• Micro Batten Construction – up to 40% lighter per kite, reduces tip flutter and creates a smoother profile for more precise steering.
• New Fusion Joint Connection – lighter, with better durability.
• Single Stitch Trailing Edge – slicker overall look, reduced drag and more precise steering.

2027 Duotone kites

• Duotone Evo D/LAB 2027 (6–13m) – the pinnacle Freeride, Big Air and Freestyle kite, built with three-strut Aluula D/TX construction. New for 2027: faster response and improved top end, more direct steering through refined profile tuning, more playful handling and extended usable wind range. 10 PSI.
• Duotone Evo SLS 2027 (5–13m, also in Concept Blue) – the high-performance all-rounder. New canopy profile for more progressive bar pressure, higher structural stiffness (9 PSI to 10m, 8 PSI from 11m), optimised tip canopy connection and Flex Strut removal for sharper, more responsive handling.
• Duotone Evo 2027 (5–13m) – the original Evo. The most versatile kite in the range and the go-to choice for every skill level.
• Duotone Rebel D/LAB 2027 (6–13m) – maximum hangtime, instant lift and the most intuitive bar feedback for Big Air riders.
• Duotone Rebel SLS 2027 (6–14m, also in Concept Blue) – High Performance Freeride and Big Air. Optimised leading edge for reduced drag, faster climb, more dynamic jump response and balanced performance across the whole size range.

• Duotone Jaime SLS 2027 (133/40, 136/41, 139/42, 142/43) – the iconic Freeride and Big Air all-rounder, now with additional reinforcements to improve pop and further reduce reverse flex. Also available as Jaime Concept Blue in flax and basalt.

• Duotone NTT 360 2027 – a completely new binding. The Dual Tune Closure System lets you adjust front and rear straps independently with one hand, even on the water. Injection-moulded Cloud Strap with 360° fit, around 20% lighter than the previous NTT, four sizes, and compatible with most twintips on the market.
• Duotone Big Air Handle 2027 – Duotone's first Big Air-specific board handle, with an integrated WOO compartment and external control lever. Universal mounting from 170–200mm fits all Duotone twintips and most competitor boards.
• Duotone Click Bar 2027 – the original push-button trim system, with Flite99 2.0 lines and the Click-In Safety System. For 2027 the front line stopper ball is gone and the Low V-Distributor now ships in the box to fit when you need it. New colourway.
• Duotone Trust Bar S/M/L 2027 – one bar for every setup, with adjustable line length and bar width (42/49cm and 46/53cm). DPL24 depower line now in black, plus additional frontline pigtails for better trim. New colourway.

Concept Blue for 2027

Concept Blue is Duotone's more sustainable material approach, and for 2027 it runs across the Evo SLS, Rebel SLS, Jaime, Select, Soleil and Spike. It uses undyed fabrics, a bio-based bladder with up to 57% bio-based carbon content, and polymer components made from post-industry recycled material – with the same performance as the standard version.
