Shipping Outside the UK & Import Taxes
Since the UK left the EU, all orders shipped outside of the UK are subject to the destination country’s import taxes, duties, and courier administration fees.
EU Customers

You will not be charged UK VAT at checkout

Instead, your country’s import VAT and any applicable duties will be charged when the order reaches your country

These charges are typically around 20–25%, but vary by country

The courier will contact you for payment before delivery
Before Brexit, UK VAT was charged on all UK purchases. Since Brexit, UK VAT is removed for EU customers, making prices approximately 20% lower at checkout, with local taxes collected on delivery instead.
Customers Outside the EU

No UK VAT is charged at checkout

You will be responsible for your local import taxes, duties, and courier administration fees

These charges are collected by the courier before delivery
We have no control over import charges. Please research your country’s fees before ordering, as couriers will not release parcels until all charges are paid.
Refused Deliveries (International Orders)
If you choose to refuse delivery due to import charges:

The parcel will be returned to us

We will incur return shipping costs, customs charges, UK re-import VAT, and courier administration fees

Once the item is returned and all costs are known, we will issue a refund minus these charges

The exact refund amount cannot be confirmed until the item has been returned and all fees are settled
Delivery to Mainland UK
Free shipping is available on eligible orders to mainland England.
Additional shipping costs may apply for:

Isle of Man

Guernsey and Jersey
Some larger or awkward items (such as kayaks or one-piece paddles) may also incur additional shipping charges.
If you are unsure about delivery costs for your location or item, please contact us before ordering and we’ll be happy to advise. In exceptional cases, we may contact you prior to dispatch if a destination incurs additional charges.
Damaged Items
Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.

If visible damage is present, we recommend signing for the parcel as “damaged” or refusing delivery

If you are unable to fully inspect the goods at delivery, please sign as “unchecked”
If an item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery so we can assess the issue and make it right. Delays in reporting damage may affect our ability to resolve the issue with the courier.
Order Refusal
Worthing Watersports reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order. If this happens, we will notify you within a reasonable timeframe.
