Thoroughbred slalom boards impress with extreme top speeds, but they constantly require your full attention and strength to reach that maximum performance. The JAG SLS combines maximum performance with usability and comfort to create the ultimate freerace machine! It is easily as fast as dedicated competition shapes but at the same time it is incredibly comfortable to ride.

Combining speed and comfort is almost the complete opposite characteristics in a board, yet years of fine tuning by Daniel Aeberli (Product Manager Boards) has led to a board range that truly embodies this concept.

We reached this dream by using a narrower outline and tail combined with a flatter rocker line to create a free feeling. Those attributes also allow it to reach maximum velocity without having to be driven as hard as a dedicated racing board and be more rewarding to gybe. Additionally, the inner foot strap insert options allow the board to be ridden less technically, allowing you to start with extreme comfort and move further outboard and increase the speed at a rate that suits your level.

The JAG SLS is essentially a slalom board you can live with! It is designed to blast over long distances in total control and will excel with any style of sail. It blends the user-friendliness of the BLAST with the top-notch race performance of the FALCON_FIN to give you control, power and performance.

We offer two aftermarket fins which are especially developed for the JAG SLS changing the characteristics of the board:

• Partnered with the DUOTONE RACE fin the JAG SLS is more comfortable to ride and more forgiving to jibe
• The RACE D/LAB fin is developed by Finish Fins and Jordy Vonk which he used at all PWA and IFCA fin races. With this fin the JAG SLS comes extremely close in performance to the FALCON_FIN boards if you have a (free)race sailing level

Achieved through lighter raw materials and a higher carbon content and a sophisticated layup with a much higher amount of load spot specific patches, stringers and reinforcements. Important these weight savings do not go to cost of durability. This is why as the first production brand we offer a 1 YEAR UNLIMITED WARRANTY on these boards when registered online (dents excluded).
Deck Shape: Flatter deck shape for comfortable stance and maximum control during jibes. Recessed mast track area lowering the rig connection, boosting control and aerodynamics by “closing the gap”.
Outline: RANGE SPECIFIC ASPECT RATIO (length vs. width) The smaller the board the higher the aspect ratio >> maximum control plus reduced wetted surface for v-maxThe bigger the board the lower the aspect ratio >> maximum acceleration already at lower speedsSlightly narrower outline and tail than the Falcon_Fin allow the Jag to reach maximum velocity without having to be driven as hard and be more rewarding to jibe.
Rail Shape: Ergonomic rail design for maximum grip in jibes and 100 % power from start to finish.Harder rails underneath the feet allow maximum push onto the fin to let the board fly. But still slightly thinner than the Falcon_Fin which makes the Jag less physical to sail.

Duotone Pro Pads: 8-10mm thick duo density EVA (depending on the board type) provides best dampening comfort and control. The heat pressed diamond grooving pattern protects the EVA against abrasion and provides an extraordinary grip level. We only select EVA colours which don't look dirty after use and will also resist fading after hours in the sun.
Bottom Shape: FLYING V-SHAPE: increased V in front of the mast track and towards the tail makes the board ride high and loose plus improves control and allows varying jibing radius to attack at the buoy.The 2 STEP CUT-OUTS reduce the wetted surface. This allows a wider tail outline and due to the further outboard rear strap position the rider can load more power onto the fin for more control and speed.
Rocker Line: Rocker lines developed over decades deliver top speeds in all conditions and ensure maximum control. Slightly flatter rocker line than the Falcon_Fin for improved low end power.
