The WARP_FOIL extends our PWA and IFCA fin slalom champion sail range. It’s a specific and highly advanced foil design suited for foil racers looking for something that complements the low-drag of the hydrofoil. Compared to traditional fin sailing you have approximately 70% lower drag on the foil. Therefore it requires a totally different sail design (profile, twist pattern, aspect ratio) to match the low-drag hydrofoils.
The design of the 20.24 represented a milestone, as we were able to massively improve the wind range (= improved average speed) and the flight control in the upper range (= improved V-Max). To achieve this we significantly increased the luff curve and reduced the head size. A shortened boom length and the incorporation of a massive double-foil sleeve size were further key design elements.
The WARP_FOIL 2024 concept was very well received, so we decided to build on its success with an evolved version. By updating the batten configuration to a stiffer setup, we’ve maintained the sail's incredible efficiency while enhancing control in stronger winds. This change is paired with a slightly flatter entry of the sail, which improves top speed across all sizes. Together, these updates make the WARP_FOIL an even better foil sail for 2025
In our eyes, the WARP_FOIL 20.25 redefines the benchmark of the control to performance to wind-range ratio. It’s purely designed to win low-drag hydrofoil races!
Attention: for maximum performance the WARP_FOIL is equipped with 4 carbon tube battens. These battens are stiffer but unfortunately also more fragile than glass tube battens. Therefore, they are excluded from our warranty!

Tech Features
Hyper Cam 2.0: Optimum performance and camber rotation at any time! HYPER CAM 2.0 is the camber revolution for even more sail performance. The secret is a variable slider which gets adjusted via a Torx stainless steel screw, determining the camber length (patent pending). Further extended results in maximum propulsion, slightly shortened optimises the rotation. The difference is clearly noticeable and has a great influence on the performance level of the sail. The camber length can be changed by anyone within seconds and adjusted to their preferences, even under full sail tension. Despite this unique additional function, the HYPER CAM 2.0 is only slightly heavier since the housing is weight-optimised.
Advantage 1: Super-fast rigging (only rolling on instead of snapping on) without having to correct luff and outhaul tension multiple times.
Advantage 2: Minimal friction and very gentle batten rotation, since the HYPER CAM has exposed pulleys without plastic braces and only the pulleys touch the mast.
Advantage 3: Optimised shape for the best possible luff sleeve profile and ideal aerodynamics.
Advantage 4: Suitable for all SDM mast diameters (any carbon-content or different brands) because only the pulleys touch the surface and never the plastic structures themselves, allowing the HYPER CAM to rotate with extreme ease.
Advantage 5: Fast and easy length adjustment for individual tuning of max. performance vs. ease of rotation.
Attention: due to new batten attachment, not retrofittable to HYPER CAM 1. generation sails.
iROCKET 2.0: Super-lightweight and aerodynamic. iROCKET 2.0 batten tensioners are highly stable, consisting of premium components such as a self-lubricating, salt-water-resistant brass nut with stainless-steel screw which withstands all batten tensions. Each batten is individually calibrated at the factory to 100% accuracy using torque wrenches, with locknuts treated with soluble screw adhesive so the tension never changes. This ensures correct batten tension forever, with adjustment only needed for fine-tuning or in the rare case of breakage.
Twin Trim Clew: Wider range of use, custom tuning options. Two horizontally placed clew eyelets:

Outer eyelet: More power and a direct feel.

Duratech Foot: Long-term protection for the sail foot. With the exclusive DURATECH FOOT, the seams are completely protected within a large plastic channel so the surface cannot chafe against seams and material.
HTS 2.0 Harnessline Trim System: Never position harness lines incorrectly again. A patented print on the sail shows exactly where the centre of the harness line must be — simply position the ends symmetrically left and right of the print.
Mini Batten: Short and highly effective battens that support the leech between main battens, preventing unwanted flutter.
VTS – Visual Trim System: Perfect trim and a huge range of use. Simply downhaul until the top of the loose leech reaches the “lower wind limit” or “upper wind limit.” Quick, accurate, and beginner-friendly.
TT Top: Improved sail control in higher winds. The reduced, concave shape improves twist behaviour both horizontally and vertically, neutralising gusts and expanding the usable wind range.
3D Top Cap: Optimised downhaul force distribution. The 3D TOP CAP transfers tension three-dimensionally across the sail body, eliminating top flutter and creating a progressive loose leech. Integrated abrasion ribs also remove the need for bulky reinforcements.
Polyester Webbing Only: No stretch, no loss of tension. Unlike conventional polypropylene, polyester webbing prevents stretch, ensuring even brand-new sails retain full luff tension without constant re-trimming.
