After a full head-to-toe renovation, we’re excited to say the refurbishment is now complete… and the shop is looking better than ever.
We’re open as usual, fully stocked, and we’d love for you to pop in and see the finished result.
A Proper Community Effort
This project wouldn’t have been possible without the help of some brilliant people who gave their time, effort and expertise to make it happen.
Glen Lamley – a local builder and long-time kitesurfing customer – helped immensely throughout the refurbishment. His knowledge and hands-on support were a huge part of bringing this vision to life.
My father, David Latham, an experienced builder from Surrey, also played a massive role in transforming the space. His experience and attention to detail really show in the finished result.
And a big thank you to my neighbour Neville, who helped with a lot of the ripping out and removal of waste – not the glamorous part of the job, but absolutely essential!
From Old Carpet to High-Spec Watersports Store
We stripped everything back – ripping up the old carpet, removing outdated lighting and fixtures – and started fresh.
The result?

- ✔ Beautiful real birch plywood walls
The shop now feels brighter, more spacious and far easier to browse. The clean finish really shows off the latest Duotone equipment in the way it deserves.
