Boards & More's race season for 2027 kicks off on 14 October with the Warp_Fin and Falcon_Fin D/LAB — Duotone's fin slalom sail and board, updated for another season of PWA, IFCA and club racing. The foil pair, Warp_Foil and Falcon_Foil D/LAB, follows a week later on 21 October.
Both are built around the same idea: less time trimming, more time racing. The Warp_Fin is designed to come straight out of the bag and rig to the marks, and the Falcon_Fin D/LAB is built in Duotone's Full Custom D/LAB process so every board in your quiver handles the same way — no second-guessing your size call on race day.

What's new on the Warp_Fin for 2027
Two structural changes this year. Overlapping Seams bond adjacent panels into one load-bearing unit instead of a butted join, cutting deformation under load and sending power more directly into the board — the sail holds its shape in gusts rather than giving way. Hybrid Batten Construction pairs that with a deliberate mix of glass and carbon battens by position along the sail, rather than one material throughout.
The 5.2 has been individually reworked for more precise control in high wind, and the 9.0 is back in the range after a year out — good news if you're après-race light-wind slalom or prefer to keep one big sail in the quiver for marginal days.
Falcon_Fin D/LAB — one board built around one rider
The Falcon_Fin D/LAB is Duotone's D/LAB-tier fin slalom race board for advanced and expert windsurfers racing at PWA, IFCA and club level. Built on race-winning shapes and Full Custom D/LAB technology, the whole point is that it keeps your focus on speed and line rather than on the equipment — every size in the range is shaped around the same rider profile, so moving up or down a board doesn't mean relearning how it responds.

💡 Sam's Tip
Match the board to the sail you'll actually run most, not the biggest one in the bag. If you're mostly on the 7.7, the 111L tops out at 8.4m — that's headroom to size up on a light day without the board feeling like a barge underneath you when it comes on strong.
