The Duotone iBase 2.0 + Joint (long pin) is the iBase 2.0 mast base with the traditional, legendary and slightly softer original Powerjoint (incl. Duotone Pin Long). For safety reasons, an external safety line is attached.
Since the built-in Duotone pin has been seen as the standard on the market for decades, the joint can be fitted directly to approx. 90% of all mast extensions on the market. (Note: not compatible with EPX.XT RDM.)

Release Option
Tired of unscrewing the base from the board after a session just so the board fits into the board bag? The iBase 2.0 has a release option for removing the connection joint simply by pulling the sand-resistant, stainless-steel U-pin. Without tools, you can swap between a conventional Powerjoint and the iTENDON in seconds. With a spare joint or tendon you are also immediately ready for action again if the worst comes to the worst – without having to repair the joint or tendon.
Perma Lock Option
For all safety nuts, the release button can be fixed with a screw, which disables the release function.
Stuck Solution
Should the iBase 2.0 ever become stuck to the board after long storage, two holes let you use a screwdriver as a lever to release the base with ease.
Low Profile
So that the iBase 2.0 can be installed and removed without tools, it has a central screw design. Such designs are normally relatively high, but Duotone’s engineers found a way to make the iBase 2.0 the lowest base of its kind.
2 Phase Washer Plate
The exclusive washer plate is made in a 2-phase over-moulding process (like an electric toothbrush). The upper side is a low-friction PVC material that reduces the force needed to tighten the iBase 2.0 onto the board, and the bottom side is over-moulded with a special rubber mixture to stop any sliding on the board.
