This partnership is set to make The Beach Club the UK’s top water sports destination, offering state-of-the-art gear and world-class coaching.
Located in the picturesque and windy seaside town of Littlehampton, The Beach Club is a purpose-built facility that combines a vibrant café-bar and bistro with an onsite water sports school and shop, complete with changing and shower facilities. The club has cultivated a unique and growing community where passion for food, drink, and water sports blends seamlessly, creating a dynamic hub for enthusiasts. This collaboration with Duotone, a brand synonymous with excellence and innovation in water sports, reflects The Beach Club's commitment to developing the go to kite destination in the UK both on and off the water.
The Littlehampton area is no stranger to water sports royalty, with local legends like Lewis Crathern, renowned 4X British Champion and Vice World Champion and Duotone international pro rider, windsurfing icon Nik Baker, kitesurfing world champion Aaron Hadlow and local superstar and British champion Toby Raw all calling it home. The partnership aims to shine a spotlight on the UK as a global leader in water sports, with the Sussex coast at its heart.
Lewis Crathern, who has been instrumental in bringing this collaboration to life, shared his excitement:

The addition of the The Beach Club in Littlehampton has been a dream come true. The new venue has raised the bar nationally when it comes to access to the ocean for numerous communities . As water-sports users, it is not so common in the UK to have changing rooms, showers, and an experienced team of coaches and staff located at a venue right by the water. Combined with the multifunctional cafe there is something for everyone.
It’s a great moment to see the new collaboration with Duotone Kiteboarding, my sponsor of 9 years. This will enable us to deliver our young blood program, designed to find new talents and to also support young people to become better kiteboarders. I am proud to call this the home of where I perform my coaching sessions. In addition to his involvement with The Beach Club, Lewis has been actively working with local schools to highlight the mental and physical well-being that water sports offer. The partnership with Duotone is poised to boost water sports activity in the area, but its ambitions go beyond that—it seeks to make Littlehampton a focal point for water sports development nationally and internationally,
The collaboration will kick off with a series of exciting events and initiatives, aimed at encouraging participation in water sports both on and off the water. Riding on the back of Britains only Olympic sailing medals in kiting and windsurfing, the team will be kicking of with the Duotone young bloods camp seeking the future talent of British kitesurfing, aiming to show kids, youth, and parents the positive effects that sports can have on their body and mind like feeling healthy, gaining confidence, increasing mental strength & focus.
The official launch will be taking place on the 9th November and is open to the general public with a chance to try Duotone equipment, meet the team and join for an evening of socialising and a chance to win some great prizes.
