The Foil Drive Assist MAX+ — Gen2.5, the all-rounder just got better.
The MAX+ sits at the heart of Foil Drive's new Gen2.5 line-up: the same compact MAX form factor, with up to 20% more power and thrust than the outgoing MAX, built around new 43V electronics for less voltage drop and a punchier take-off.
Where the Fusion specialises in outright power and runtime, and the Slim keeps things light and pure, the MAX+ is the genuine all-rounder — plenty of power and stamina to see you through a full session, nimble enough to keep ride feel honest.
What's new for Gen2.5:
- 20% more power and thrust than the Gen2 MAX
- Two new FM+ battery options (650Wh and 430Wh, sold separately) — no adaptor needed on MAX+
- Smart BMS battery management, including power-off scheduling via the Foil Drive app for trench boards
- IP69-rated, independently replaceable battery housing
- Fewer install steps with the new Foil Drive M7 split bolts
- 43V 12A fast charger included
- Optional Tilt Sensor and V3 Controller Auto Lock available for extra safety
Paired with the FM+ 650 battery: 35.5kg max thrust, up to 1750W sustained power, 6.71kg total install weight, 45–65 minutes runtime.
Paired with the upcoming FM+ 430 (early 2027): 5.33kg total install weight, 35–50 minutes runtime.
Runtime figures are Foil Drive's own indicative averages for an 85kg intermediate rider on an 800–1000cm² wing and 5'0 40L board, under 5kts wind — actual runtime varies with rider weight, skill and conditions.
