Duotone Fall/Winter 2027 Apparel — Explore and Originals

The Duotone Fall/Winter 2027 clothing collection has landed, and it is the most wearable one they have done. Eight pieces, built around two families — the technical Explore line for actually being outside in October, and the softer Originals pieces for everything after.

None of it is session kit. It is the stuff you wear on the walk down to the beach, in the car park while the kettle boils, and in the pub afterwards still slightly damp. Which, if we are honest about how a British winter session actually goes, is most of the day.

The Explore line — the technical half

Four pieces that layer into each other. Start with the sweater, add the fleece, put the windbreaker over the top when it turns, and you have covered most of what the south coast throws at you between now and March.

Windbreaker Jacket Explore — packs into its own pocket.

The Windbreaker Jacket Explore (£149.99) is the one that will live in your kit bag. Lightweight 5k/5k fabric, a PFC-free C0 DWR finish for water repellency, and it self-packs into its own pocket — so it takes up roughly nothing until the moment you need it. Moonlight Haze or Metal Grey.

Fleece DT Explore — half-zip, recycled polar fleece.

The Fleece DT Explore (£119.99) is the mid-layer. Recycled polar fleece, half-zip so you can dump heat without taking it off, and zipped chest and hand pockets — which matters more than it sounds when you are trying not to put your phone down on wet shingle.

Sweater DT Explore — ripstop inserts on shoulders, placket and collar.

The Sweater DT Explore (£99.99) is the quiet favourite of the four. Organic cotton face, recycled polyester back, ripstop inserts on the shoulders, placket and collar, and a zip chest pocket. The subtle prints showing through the fabric give it a technical look without shouting about it.

Pants Explore and Shorts Explore — both in organic cotton.

Bottom half: the Pants Explore (£105.99) in organic cotton ripstop, with an elastic waistband, press-button closure and drawcord, plus front, thigh and back pockets. The Shorts Explore (£87.99) are the same idea in organic cotton with a five-pocket cut. Both come in Metal Grey and Dusty Forrest.

Originals — the soft stuff

Fleece Sweater Originals — oversized fit, recycled fleece.

The Fleece Sweater Originals (£69.99) is the cheapest way into the collection and probably the one that gets worn most. Super-cosy recycled fleece, deliberately oversized so it layers over everything, and a small embroidered logo rather than a billboard. Moonlight Haze or Mineral Blue.

Beanie Duotone Logo and Beanie Seaman — £29.99 each.

Then two beanies at £29.99 each. The Beanie Duotone Logo has a garment-dye finish and a subtle Duotone badge, in Moonlight Haze or Cherry Spring. The Beanie Seaman is the garment-washed, more relaxed one, in Metal Grey or Mineral Blue. One size, both of them.
