Same shape changes as the D/LAB
A touch more nose rocker to help crossing gnarly white water, a refined tail outline that improves turn-ability and grip at the same time, and a refined tuck line in the mid-front section for better acceleration and control. It's the World Cup wave shape — focus ground swell through windy Euro waves — in Full Custom SLS rather than D/LAB.
What you give up versus the D/LAB
Weight, mostly — the 76 SLS is 6.0kg against 5.6kg for the D/LAB, so you're carrying about 400g more. You also can't pick your own colours or get a serial number, and the SLS range stops at 94 litres and starts at 76, where the D/LAB goes from 53 up to 106 and offers a three-fin option. What you gain is no lead time and a lower price for the same shape, which for most people riding UK beach breaks is the better trade.

💡 Sam's Tip
For most UK wave sailors the 82 or the 88 is the size that gets sailed. Go smaller than 76 and you need proper wind and proper waves to make it worth it. If you're between two, the bigger one gets you more days — the Cosmic still turns tight for its volume.
