Custom CNC construction
The Raven is built with Duotone's Custom CNC composite construction — a composite-wood sandwich layup over a lightweight, CNC-precision-shaped EPS core, with an unfinished look. It's developed and continuously refined from Duotone's heritage in premium windsurfing and foil board manufacturing, striking a genuinely good balance between low weight, efficient glide and comfort underfoot.
Shape features
The race-inspired shape features an optimised outline for maximum glide efficiency and speed. A straight mid-rocker delivers smooth acceleration and sustained glide, while the slightly recessed deck, wide tail and high-apex rails provide a confident, stable ride. Catamaran-inspired side planes enhance balance and tracking, and the tour-ready deck layout includes a large bungee storage area and a subtle cockpit for gear and comfort.
A narrow, piercing nose cuts cleanly through the water while the wider midsection maintains glide and stability, delivering race-level cruising speed with touring-level comfort. Unlike narrow race boards, this design lets you take in your surroundings without sacrificing balance or confidence.
