The Falcon SLS: Everyday Performance, Race DNA
The Duotone Falcon_Fin SLS delivers race-level speed and control, but in a more forgiving and affordable design than the D-LAB. It shares the same outline and sizes as the Falcon D-LAB, but uses Full Custom SLS construction, making it slightly heavier but much more accessible for real-world use.
With refined rails, reduced nose lift, and S-Glass+ technology, the Falcon SLS feels incredibly smooth through chop while maintaining that exhilarating top-end speed Duotone is known for. Footstrap positions can also be moved further inboard — perfect for progressing from intermediate to advanced freerace riders.
Falcon D-LAB: Ultimate Racing Machine
The Falcon D-LAB remains Duotone’s purest race board, designed for those chasing every fraction of a knot. It’s lighter, stiffer, and more aggressive in its acceleration and control — the choice for world-class competition.
In contrast, the SLS bridges the gap beautifully — giving riders a board that’s comfortable for everyday sailing yet fast enough to hold its own on a racecourse.
Replacing the Duotone Jag
It’s also worth noting that the Falcon SLS effectively replaces the Duotone Jag, streamlining Duotone’s naming system. If you loved the Jag, this is its natural evolution — same freerace concept, now integrated into the Falcon family.
